Tino's eye's and ears I am Listening.....

Racing with fans and family go together......

Who will be taking home the cash this new season of racing will it be some unknown drivers are will we see some of the greats back on the track and winning some big major races.

When that green flag flies your know that it is time again "To Play In The Clay", and everyone will be back to take on their rivals.

Who will have the Bonty on their heads, like last years Senoia Raceway champion Scott Sherrer, who was almost unbeatable in the hobby feature class.

Or the enduro class,
driver, The elderly white haired gentleman "Mike Ray" or as he is known at Senoia raceway "The River dale Rocket".
Mike has always been one class driver, and a great friend to speak with.
His car #99 has been a featured winner at Senoia Raceway many a Saturday night.

Then you have Billy Bright Jr. who has been making a name for him
self in the dirt track racing world, Bright comes from a long, long , long of racing hero's.

He is no stranger at having some one spin him as well as try and take him
out of a race, but no matter Billy is Billy and drives every night like its his last night racing, winning is the only option.

Then people come out to see drivers like #21c of Kenny "Quick" Collins who is a small man in person but a giant with a late model race car. He is also the proud owner of his own business.

Drivers load up and head to Senoia because of the history behind the track, now that its dirt more drivers find that they like Senoia raceway better than most tracks.

Drivers like Montana Dudley come to Senoia in huge rigs, almost like Nascar boys, I mean there is no lack of money on their part of this racing game.

When you have drivers like Collins, and Dudley and in the match up drivers like Rucker Orr, Jason Williams and Shane Flucher plus Shane Criswell, you can see some of the best fireworks in Dirt Track racing.

Add in Lavon Sparks and you have some of the best Dirt Track racing in the South

FIRE WORKS IN RACING LIKE NEVER BEFORE!

What ever happens in 2011,you will see some Bright ORANGE SHIRTS, and they seem to be all over the track , you will know later that these are all friends of "BRIGHT RACE CARS" and they happen to be the fans colors.

LOOK out for "BRC" this year at both tracks.

Thanks to everyone,

Sorry the BLOGS have been sort but I have been trying to care for my sick wife, so

Saturday December 18th, 2010 Waiting......

Saturday, the weather is cold, well warmer than 2 days ago, but still cold. The grey skies don't help, but we all know that racing season will be upon us sooner
than we think.

Racing starts at West Georgia Speedway in March, great!

Lets Rock, in the 2011 racing season!

Racing begins at New Senoia Raceway in April 2,2011

So between then and now all we have to do is "WAIT". Some thing I hate to do is wait, more so when I miss my friends, and when you get down to it race friends are family. Sure we have our dislikes, but every one knows that if a driver or family member is sick it is like part of our family.

Don't forget that I will be back filming at your favorite race track, and taking lots of photo's of your favorite drivers this coming new season.

So I can write about them, and let you know what is going on with them.

I am also available for all kinds of photo shoots, just call me at the number located on my card next to this.

Some times I wonder what your family is doing during off season, I know you are all getting ready for the coming Christmas Holiday
season, and then we have the New Year we can all be ready for, we just have to be safe on New Years Eve if your planing on driving.

GOD knows we do not want to lose any of you.

How many of you drivers have been working on their cars during this off season ?

like the "purple people eater" Winford Minix? and his #M4 car.

I am sure that we know drivers like Scott Sherrer has been getting his hobby car
ready to run again at Senoia
raceway, after all how many wins did he capture at that track during the 2010 racing season.

What about drivers like Jason Williams, and Little Joe Armistead Jr, or Scott Duffy, will they be ready to run in the Late model class features and win the big races.

I am sure that Rucker Orr has been gearing up because he has finished in 2nd place so many times during the 2010 racing season, I am sure he is ready to win the big races down at Senoia.

Then we have those B-Cadet drivers and this new racing season I believe we will see more wins by Billy Bright Jr. who makes his presence known at every race track. Billy Bright Jr. is one class act driver. If you really get to know him he is a super nice driver.
Most folks don't take the time to get to know him, they just have plenty of old time gossip in their minds to make it look like all the Brights do is fight, and I do not believe that.
So I look forward to watching Billy Bright Jr. and also Tim Bright go after some huge wins this new 2011 racing season be it at West Georgia Speedway or New Senoia Raceway.

How about Jeff Carter, will he be running again, or has he chosen to move up in class?

Carter is one of the premier drivers in the B-Cadets, and if there is a race on, he will be there if at all possible.

All we can do is sit back and WAIT, and get ready for racing season 2011 at New Senoia Raceway as well as West Georgia Speedway, plus all the other short tracks in Georgia and Alabama.

Remember it won't be long till you hear the phrase "Lets Play in the Clay", oh what a beautiful sound that will be.

I will be ready will you be?

Thanks,

Tino Patti

Good Bye Jack Mills, Whatcha got Tim and Tony Moses

West Georgia Speedway will begin racing in March as Always!

Senoia Raceway will begin on April 2nd 2011, with some test in March.
2011 Rules will be posted the week following January 1st.

NEW SENOIA RACEWAY PROMOTER MOSES ATTENDS RENO RPM PROMOTERS WORKSHOP

December 15, 2010 (Senoia, GA) New Senoia Raceway second year promoter Tim Moses recently headed west to attend the 38th Annual Racing Promoter’s Monthly Workshops in Reno, Nevada. Moses joined with nearly 500 other short track operators sharing ideas on everything from promotional aspects of the industry to the technical side with divisional rule discussion. He was introduced to many of the nation’s best short track racing promoters and came away from the three day meeting with an anxious excitement for a great 2011 season.

“The workshop showed me that we are on the right track with what we want to see at New Senoia Raceway,” said Moses, who partnered with his brother Tony to operate and reopen the 3/8ths mile clay track just west of Senoia, Georgia. “We did some things right and we made a couple of mistakes. But, talking with some of the guys who have really created successful short tracks and put on some very good shows, I am excited about implementing some their ideas at our track.”

Moses will enter his second season of operation without the support of last season’s race director Jack Mills. The two parted ways shortly after Thanksgiving. The separation has created a delay in the release of the rules and schedule for New Senoia Raceway, but Moses has assured his competitors and fans that it will be released shortly after the first of the year.

“We have been busy putting people into position to help us better succeed with our plans,” said Moses. “We feel we have put together a good team that will work well with our competitors, communicate well and help us put on a great show for the fans.”

The 2011 New Senoia Raceway schedule will begin in March with a few open practice dates. The season opener event is slated for Saturday, April 2nd. Special events will compliment a strong schedule of weekly ‘Senoia Saturday Nights’ which will feature weekly divisions racing for season point titles in all classes.

For more information on New Senoia Raceway, visit http://www.newsenoiaraceway.com/ or call the speedway office at 770-599-6161.

What ever happens, New Senoia Raceway is going to have some of the best racing shows in Georgia, I predict that we shall even see some Super Late Model drivers take to the 3/8th banked track at Senoia.

You know Tim and his brother Tony will make Senoia the track to be at, I am looking forward to filming some of the greatest races in the 2011 racing season, and I hope to see lots of new winners.

We all know that the greats will be back, like Hobby car champion Scott Sherrer, plus Winford Minix. And in the B-Cadet races I look forward to seeing Billy Bright Jr. and the rest of the Brights to have a outstanding season.

When it comes to crate I know that Levon Sparks or Matthew Turner will always show up and make their presence known.

As for as the late model drivers, I am sure Little Joe Armistead Jr. will be back to take over where he left off, burning the track up. But wait what about #99 Rucker Orr will 2011 be able to get his first win at Senoia Raceway. Then there is #73 Jason Williams, a man on his own mission. Williams is a proven winner when he is at the track, and he is a great driver.

What about Shane Fulcher, a driver that is head above others, he is a class act, and I look forward to Shane winning lots of races at Senoia Raceway.

As for as B-Cadet drivers I am looking for the winning atmosphere to come back and let #B7 of Billy Bright Jr, to make his presence to known. I don't care who is at the track if a Bright race car is on the track some one better look out, becasuse the Brights don't look at 2nd place when they are racing.

Also I want to thank the Bright Racing team and the Simpson family for all their prayers for their wonderful help in blessing my family during this Christmas season.

May GOD always bless the Brights and the Simpson family, and thanks for everything.

Well I hope we can get through this cold winter and get back to racing season, wether at West Georgia Speedway or New Senoia Raceway, or even Little River Speedway in Alabama.

I hope and pray all the promoters of each track makes 2 times the money they made in 2010 and I hope more fans come to each track and learn to back the track of their choice.

Thanks for everything,

Tino Patti
