Saturday's Special
"Mike Head &"The Little River Rat"
Challenge Race”
Most veteran race fans know or have heard of
"The Headman Mike Head"
Big night show for Wren Goodman and Little River Speedway in Alabama, on May 22nd 2010
Wren Goodman is proving that he can try and compete with some of the bigger tracks, it’s hard at times and I know he can get disgusted, but who said running a race track was “Peaches and Cream”.
Take Jack Mills and Tim and Tony Moses, who have put together a winning combination of a race track, but there is one thing that is for sure when you race at Senoia, Jack is the man that will get right in your face and call it like it is. This is what a race track needs, a firm hand.
Well young and talented Wren Goodman is going to put on a real show for his fans on May 22nd, 2010 when Mike Head, known in the racing world as “The Headman”, in his #54 car, will be racing at Little River Speedway. Now if that was not enough action add Glenn Starr and his car to the show, and “BAM” you will see what will be billed as a MATCH RACE pitting the “Headman” against “Starr” in this 2 car race where 2 of the finest drivers will be matched on the speedway. Who will win? That is a great question, will Mike show his stuff are will the “Starrs” shine in Alabama?
Not only will they be matched to race each other, fans will get the thrill of a life time when both drivers bring their 2 seat cars and fans shell out some cash to ride with 2 of the best drivers on dirt. One thing is for sure, if you are scared in anyway don’t pay the cash to ride because the Headman never lets off the gas, and neither does Glenn Starr. So be prepared to take a ride of a life time and it will only be happening at Little River Speedway, May 22nd 2010.
Prices for the fans to get in are just $10 dollars with $25 dollars if you want to walk around the pit area.
Some extra news from Little River Speedway, Wren wanted me to inform all the great fans that on June 4th, he will be featuring an open-wheel race and the winner will take home $500 dollars and maybe enjoy his night.
One more announcement regarding Little River Speedway, Wren is looking into the idea of having some Friday night racing action. This could be held the first Friday of every month, it all depends on if fans like the idea, or if the drivers like it better, whatever Wren will be making his mind up and we shall all see what happens.
Little River Speedway is located: 1/2 mile from Hollis Crossroads down Highway 431 South.

Mike Head and Glenn Starr better known as “The River Rat” have been really waging a battle of words, here is a excerpt.
"Little River Rat" says there's no way this "Headman" is going to win.
He should have been here two weeks ago for the Powder Puff Race and he might have had a chance against the ladies."I appreciate Green Valley allowing me the opportunity to drive their two seat car on Friday, I know all the fans at GVS & LRS will delight in a chance to see you get caught in the trap I have set for you. "I have always admired and respected you Headman, but this is the year of "The Little River Rat", which you'll find out Friday Night at "The Jungle
The "Headman" responded to "The Rat" after I stomp on your Rat Tail this Friday Night in " The Jungle" at Green Valley, you won't have the guts to ever try me again! " Headman says "I have been around a long time, and have always tried to be a gentleman but I'll certainly delight in silencing the "Little River Rat" childish chatter. " By the way Rat just because the won at Little River Speedway last Saturday Night, you don't have to act so tuff all of a sudden! I'll bet all your fans from Little River won't even make the trip to Green Valley to watch their "Little Pet Rat" get his tail tucked between his legs. " As a matter of fact, if enough of your fans from LRS show up Friday I will be more than happy to go to LRS on Saturday Night and whip you again. That is if you and your fans aren't too scared after Friday Night!"
To be driven by the Local Legend aka "The Little River Rat" Glenn Starr #32 LLM
This will be a special double elimination (best two out of three) event.
In they are tied after two races the third race will be a 5 lap feature
So if you have time and want to see some action, head on over to Little River Speedway, and while you are there take time to shake Wren Goodman's hand, and tell him you will back him.
Thanks to everyone, and remember you can go to the Little Rivers Speedway , sponsors and it has a link to My weekly Georgia and Alabama racing Blog.
