Mike Ray, waits outside the gate
at New Senoia Raceway.
You know he is a born winner and
just plain loves to race his #99 car,
and when he wins he is a blessing
to all the young children who
admire his driving style. I am not sure how the drivers he beats feel, but I
am sure they are tired of seeing #99 in front of them.
Take a look at this photo, of Mark Mills and
I believe it's either Tim or Tony Moses who
is speaking with #27 driver Glenn Morris who is more than happy that Senoia is back to dirt.
Up Top in the tower, everything is being gone over by some expert staff at Senoia Raceway, these are the men that work so hard behind the scenes. So thank them next time you see them walking around the track.
Welcome to Senoia Raceway, to the Dirt track Queen, Tonya Duke who is wearing the wrong shirt at Senoia, for some reason she has a Green Valley Speedway shirt, as Jack Mills says "Come on Tonya, where the right shirt", the new Senoia Shirt!.
One thing for sure Tonya knows her dirt track racing and she can tell you things about drivers you may never have known, she is a real born winner and a fan like never before.
Welcome to the "Drivers Meeting" with Jack Mills high up on the wall, making sure every driver OBEYS the rules, there is no room at this track for screw ups, and Jack makes it more than clear while the meeting is going on.A Rule is a rule, and no driver is ABOVE the rules !.
Drivers come from everywhere to run at this first class race track, with some of the best officials, and staff you will every meet. From tough, "Big Jack" Mills, to Tony and Tim Moses both class owners, plus Jack's super son in law Mark Mills, who keeps the food as great as the racing. Mark should be thanked
for running a top notch concession stand that has all kinds of foods and beverages, and is clean and you will never find any fan complaining regarding the food.Sometimes It may get lonely at the TOP,
In this photo Jack Mills has called for a drivers meeting and you know I am sure he hears every kind of story from every driver that ever pulls in to race at Senoia Raceway, remember Jack has been a driver and knows things that us fans don't even realize. So next time you see Jack remember that he is tough, but is a super person once you get to know him.
Remember the bounty is on against Hobby car winner #41 Scott Sherrer, and if you beat him legally you can pick up a easy $150 dollars, take him out on purpose and you loose and should be DQed.
Also #99 Mike Ray has a BOUNTY on him, for the winner to beat him legally that driver will take home $100 cash added to his winnings for the night.
So Good luck Scott, and also Mike, I am sure you will need it, because drivers are coming out of the woodwork to beat you, and that only means better racing action at Senioa Raceway.
Don't forget the B-Cadet Championship with $1000 dollars to win, now this should be a race and a half, with Jeff Carter looking good after his Saturday night win. But remember #25 Bobby Slauson, and also some extra drivers I am sure will want to mix it up, all I can say is the driver with the best car will win, and take away $1000.00 cash money.
