Tim and Amey Moses, plus brother Tony Moses will be in charge of New Senoia raceway in 2011.
This is a photo taken of Tim and Amey Moses on their wedding day, and don't they look like a happy family.
If you have never met Tim you are in for a treat, he is always on the ball and has everything positive to say, that's the kind of people they are, and that means racing at Senoia in 2011 will be a blast as Tim pulls out every trick in the book to gain drivers attention and respect.
Drivers will be racing for points in 2011 and their will be a banquet in September when racing season ends.
A CLASS ACT "Pebbles Simpson" shows the 2010 "ORANGE" B.R.C shirt that you will see every lining the grandstands and also the fences, as her two drivers compete in the B-Cadet race, and that would be Billy Bright Sr. and his son Billy Bright Jr. So racing should go to a new level of excitement in 2011 at New Senoia Raceway.
Drivers like a man that has seen 32 years around a race car will be back, and that is Billy Bright Sr. driving in the B-Cadet race against his son Billy Bright Jr. Now Billy Jr has won plenty of races and is a force to be dealt with, maybe Sr, will teach Jr, some tricks regarding winning, then again maybe Sr. will just show his son how racing is done.
Billy Bright Sr. in this classic photo is saying "I'M BACK"
If you look at Billy Bright Sr. he is holding Billy Bright Jr, and if you read Jr's lips he is screaming and pointing that he wants to drive a car, and drive it fast, so Dad please put me down!.
"I say the SOUTH is back again"
Drivers who race at Senoia Raceway, are becoming hero's again, because if you look at these old photos of drivers you can see you are racing in history, on a track that made men stars, and took the toil on other cars.
Look at this Old photo of "Ricky Williams" who drove on the dirt at Senoia back in 1985.
Ricky Williams is still racing today and so is his son Richie Williams.
But you have to remember, how many drivers have battled this track, and how many have become legends winning race after race. Senoia at its roots with the best of the best dirt track drivers in the South.
In this photo, some really famous drivers, like #M-1 was none other than Jack Morris, who in 1970 was a big time winner ,he was Glenn's uncle, Glenn's father was Bob Morris and he was a winner, so now his son races on the same dirt track as his uncle and his father. I hope this year Glenn wins his first major race in 2011.
Now in 2010 look at the change in cars, here is #91 Todd Darda, showing the way and blowing past everyone, in his Crate Car.
Then you have a young gun, "Marty Lundsford"
and I mean young, but this young man can handle his #M96 Crate car with the best of the best drivers at Senoia.
Then you have young gun,#18 Matt Dooley, who comes out of a pure dirt track racing family and will be soon becoming a driver to watch.
The driver I look to win more races in 2011 will be that of a class act driver "Scott Duffey" in his #25 Limited Late Model
One class act driver that will not be seen at Senoia in 2011 will be one driver that has won more races everywhere in Dirt Track racing, and that is "Mr.Glenn McWaters" an his famous #G1 race car that was the threat in any race.
Glenn is hanging it up for a year or so, and maybe he will return and make it "Glory Days Again", but until then he is going to be with his son "Walter" and his precious wife Kacie.
One thing for sure is Senoia Raceway, will bring out the best of the best, winners in there own right like #41 one class driver, that even had a bounty on him, Mr.Scott Sherrer who took driving in the hobby division to a new level, and fans knew that Scott was going to be some where near the front in ever race he was in, and sure enough he came to Senoia and put on a racing clinic in the hobby feature.
Then again in B-Cadet you would see "Big" Jeff Carter join the ranks of the historic drivers to WIN at New Senoia Raceway, where he would take home the checked flag.
Jeff took this win on June 5, 2010
Again in 2011 will Carter be a force to be reckoned with?.
On May 15, 2010 in the Enduro feature Mike Ray known as "The River dale Rocket" or too this writer as the "Elderly Gentleman" would go on to Win his feature.
Now Eduro features have been done away with so Mike will have to get his car ready to run with some of the best hobby drivers in the South, is he ready?
Tim Moses with his brother Tony Moses have promised that we could see 2 shows of Super LATE MODELS, that will feature drivers like, #25 Shane Clanton, #17 Ricky William, #44 Clint Smith and who know who else will show up, for this super event that will have the crowds packing into the track. Can you imagine SUPER LATE MODELS running for big money at Senoia, well if Tim has his way the fans will see some of the fastest and greatest drivers come and run on the 3/8th track at New Senoia Raceway.
Drivers back for 2011 in Limited Late Model, will be Shane Criswell a pure winner, Shane Fulcher with his father this season. Also racing will be Little Joe Armistead Jr, and his #21 race car, and #73 "Racing Jason" Williams , plus #99 Rucker Orr, add in a few more drivers like #28 Glenn Morris and you will see some real racing action.
Many Thanks To all,
