" CAN'T WAIT TILL RACING SEASON 2011, CAN YOU?"
I know we are all tired and worn down, more so than others, but how many months do we have to wait till we hear the roar of engines and the smell of fuel and look over at the fresh clay on a 3/8Th dirt track in Georgia or Alabama?
When a racing season ends it is like we have lost some family members, but to be honest when it restarts in March, it is like Monday night football was , we are back with all our rowdy friends, who have become so close to us.
Drivers in every class are special in their own rights, from Mod-Mini cars to Hobby to B-Cadet to Pure Mini to Enduro cars, Sportsman, and Crate car, they are a different breed, but each driver has his or her story to tell.
We may not know them all by heart but I know you can put the numbers to the car and figure out who is driving.

DO YOU KNOW WHO THIS LEGEND IS?
Hint: HE WAS KNOW AS "Moonrunner"
If you can name every driver in the features, you are a true blue dirt track race fan, if you missed two you need to come to more races.
If you missed most of them, all I can say is PLEASE bring your family and watch some of the best Drivers on dirt in Georgia and Alabama and Elsewhere.
Tracks like The New Senoia Raceway, West Georgia Speedway, Little River Speedway, Dixie Speedway, Rome Speedway, and a host of smaller tracks around Georgia and Alabama.
How many of you are heading to the famous are in-famous ICE BOWL in Alabama in the freezing cold weather?
And from one writer to the fans of dirt track racing, can you wait till February 2011 to head out to the first practice for all the drivers so they can be ready for the first night of racing in March?
I know we should all be THANKFUL for what we have and thats what I plan on doing on Thanksgiving day, being here at our home and before we eat pray for all the blessings that GOD has given my wife and myself through the 2010 racing season, and as I pray, I will be lifting up every driver that has helped me become a better person and all those officials and and friends that have made me a better person, THANK YOU ALL.
Many Thanks to all,
