West Georgia Speedway gets a NEW LOOK

Welcome all race fans to the 2009 season at Historic West Georgia Speedway

Racing season is about here and you can smell and hear the sounds of drivers from every class of racing testing their engines.
From Modified Mini cars, to the Hobby class, not to mention Sportsman car races will all be ready for the fans to witness, at West Georgia Speedway. Top drivers will be ready for action, like Blant Duke, a fierce Hobby car driver, that never lets out of the gas, he is a born winner.

Then there are those pure mini drivers, who work so hard on their cars, and who knows who will be the winning driver in that small class in the first race at West Georgia Speedway for 2009.

The track has seen some real improvement, Sammy Duke the owner has really made the track worth racing on.

The drivers are all ready and that goes for some of the best Hobby car drivers in the south, one in that comes to mind is that of the #01 car driven by Blant Duke, a driver that has no fear on the track, of course he will have competition from drivers like #3 of Big Jeff Carter.

Everything is changing for the better at West Georgia Speedway, the food is always good and the fans are the best but what makes this track special are the officials.

I look for some exciting action this year, and I look for Brian Duke to keep the track in great shape, as he has in the past. Racing, is great when you have top notch drivers of every class and also a special team of race officials.

We are told by Sammy Duke that he has brought in a new flagman for the year 2009 so this should make racing much better, all I know is that The Duke family has always been good to me, and I plan on being better to them in this new season.

I will be planing to keep track of the young driver Blant Duke, because he has that hungry look like I seen in Reed Sorensons face when he was racing.

So friends, I hope you and your entire family will be coming down to West Georgia Speedway this year for some outstanding racing events. I know I look forward to seeing and greeting everyone.

And when you get the chance and see Brian Duke, or Sammy Duke, stop them and tell them how great they are, after all they are part of this Historic racing venue.

Racing is the South, the real way, on the clay of West Georgia Speedway.

See you there I hope,
Tino Patti * a MSA reporter *
