FLAGS AND FEELINGS

"Lets
Get
Ready
To
Rumble"

Get to know the flags, DRIVERS, You will be seeing them waving at New Senoia Raceway a lot.

Again in 2011 Flagman "Chad Harrington" the flagman supreme will be again making sure every driver knows the rules, and he is the flagman that makes racing and winning something to see with his "Double Checkered Flags Wave" at the end of the feature. You have to see him to believe him, lots of respect from the drivers also and that is great.

New Senoia Raceway will be the place to see all the greats in 2011, because Tim and Tony Moses are running the track now, so they plan on putting on some super races. The fans will be coming in droves so please be ready, practices are in March and the opening will be April 2nd, 2011 so "BE THERE".

Drivers like Mike Head known as "The Headman" has seen his share of Checkered flags in the past, but he doesn't mind seeing one more, you know you are in a race with"The Headman" in the field.

BIG MIKE'S CAR

Mike Head is a Dirt track legend, and when he pulls in every person stands because they know they are about to witness history.

Has anyone else heard the rumor that is surrounding the racing world of dirt, and that is Tim Bright Sr. is planing a return to the dirt track and Senoia.

If this is a fact, we could see in the same B-Cadet race, Tim Bright Sr. plus Billy Bright Sr. and young sons Tim Bright and Billy Bright Jr. what would happen if this became a fact, what kind of racing would we see. We know Tim Bright has a new car, but can his Father who dominated Senoia Speedway in years past make a return or is this all hot air? We shall all see soon but it would make for some great racing fun. Got to mention the B-Cadets will gain some one else to the feature that does not like to lose and that is Enuro driver #4 Michael Nelms, who is fierce on and off the track. It is about time Michael Nelms broke away from Enduro and leaped up to B-Cadet because he will make racing more exciting.

The Orange T7 is Tim Bright Jr. could we see father son races again?

Don't you know Billy Brigh
t Sr. is making this old man "Hungry", I mean look at that meat, and look at him cook, if he can cook as well as he drives he will never have a problem.

When racing starts back with the opening race at New Senoia Raceway set for April 2, 2011 we should see the best of the best I mean drivers that don't look back. Drivers in Limited Late model like #21 "Little" Joe Armistead Jr. and how bout #73 "Racing" Jason Williams, and don't count out #25 Scott Duffey. Other drivers to watch will be #18 Shane Criswell and #9 Shane Fulcher, who will have his father racing with him in the same feature, that should really be a class act.
And who would ever count out #99 Rucker Orr, if what he tells me is true he will have 2 cars.
We all know #33 Brian Reese will be back, he has the car and money to make it work this year.

Also never count out #27 Glenn Morris, a true racer and great person to know.

One thing is for sure Rucker Orr wants to beat Little Joe Armistead Jr. fair and square, and he is on a mission this 2011 season.

Mix in some Alabama drivers and you will see one class act limited late model race.

If all goes as planned you the fans will be seeing Georgia best and fastest drivers in the South.

We should also see the "Winged Outlaws" back at Senoia this new year, will it be another 2 day show who knows except Tim and Tony Moses.

One thing was for sure the fans loved watching these super fast cars roar around the 3/8th mile oval at Senoia.

This year racing at Senoia is going to fit the fans, and families from every where as giving the drivers some real "Show Time".

The Pure Mini feature will have some of the best drivers in the South, drivers like Russell Bright, who you can see buckling up because his feature is almost ready has to be the "Bulldog" of a driver.

Russell has been around, and knows his way to the front but getting there he will have to drive past Senoia Pure Mini Winners like #00 Matt Black, #16 Stephen Hill, #4 Dusty Jones #39 Bobby Arnold and more.

Everyone thinks the pure mini races are not worth staying for, but these young and older men drive with the passion of the Late Model drivers and trading paint is not a option, rub them and they will rub, scrub and move you out of the way, that's how they become the best.

Drivers that win at Senoia Raceway join some of the most "Historic" Race car drivers list. You WIN you are a winner and no one can take that away from you. More or less you have beat the best on this Saturday night.

Young drivers like #4 Dusty Jones won at Senoia and he proved he could out drive the old men, but can he do it again in 2011?

It's true this dirt/clay is the same winning stuff that gave Hobby Car champion #41 Scott Sherrer Win after Win after Win, plus it is the same as #21 Little Joe Armistead Jr. returned to prove that he is a driver that is supreme.

Drivers come from different States to "Play in the Clay" on Saturday nights at New Senoia Raceway.

Remember when drivers WIN and come home and wash the dirt of their car, they are washing away pure gold or a piece of racing history.

Jack Morris , Glenn's uncle won at Senoia Speedway in 1970's. Then his dad Bob Morris started to show his hand at winning , so Bob's son Glenn would race in the footsteps of his Uncle and Father.

Winnless in 2010 Glenn made every race and that is a feat in itself.

His Son # 27 Glenn Morris is l
ooking for a win in 2011, he didn't get it when the track opened back with clay in 2010, but hey this is a new season and I am sure Glenn Morris has a new outlook on the racing season.

This was a wreck that almost took Glenn out of racing, as his car
was caught up in a huge collision with other cars.

Bad wrecks happen in racing, and as you can see Glenn Morris was ver
y lucky to walk away from this terrible crash, but what did he do next Saturday night, your right he came back to race on the same track that could have taken his life, GOD was riding with him that is all I can say.

The man with the "Bulls-eye" riding, with him will be one of the best Limited Late Model Drivers, and that is none other than "Little" Joe Armistead Jr, who in the picture below shows what he has done in the past and what he does best when he is racing on any track in the South.
Here he is showing his stuff at old 7 Flags Speedway when I was a young
Photographer, I seen Joe beat Bill Elliot, and that was a thrill.

I knew he was tough then, now look at him. At home, Joe is laid back and you have to get to know him, he is one of a kind with a heart of gold. Just don't try and rough him up on the track, are he will grab that inch and take a mile in a minute. Then you will look up and say "He's Gone".

Just when you think he can't do any wrong on a track, it happens like this horrifying crash at Rome Speedway
"Little" Joe walked away but his car was demolished, GOD was with him that is all I can say.

So remember for fast and furious racing action make plans to be at New Senoia Raceway, April 2, 2011 for the season opener.

As you can see by "Racing Jason" Williams car, they don't race for 2nd place, they are racing to win.
BE THERE!!!!

Many Thanks to all my readers and support Staff

WHO WILL GO TO THE SUPER BOWL GAME

ONE TIME A YEAR DURING FOOTBALL SEASON, I ASK A SIMPLE QUESTION AND HOPE THAT I GET YOUR RESPONSE.
I KNOW YOU ARE RACE CAR FANS, DIRT TRACK LOVERS, BUT ONCE IN A WHILE
I WILL JUMP OFF TRACK AND SEE IF
YOU WILL
TAKE THIS POLL TO LET ME KNOW WHO YOU THINK WILL BE IN THE SUPER BOWL GAME

TWO GAMES, THE CHICAGO BEARS OVER THE GREEN BAY PACKERS, OR MAYBE YOU BELIEVE THE BEARS WILL OVER TAKE THE PACKERS? WHO IS YOUR CHOICE IN GAME ONE?

I AM PICKING THE PACKERS OVER THE BEARS!

LATER THE CHOICES ARE SIMPLE THE NEW YORK JETS WILL BE PLAYING AGAINST THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS.

NOW I AM GOING "JETS OVER THE STEELERS" WHO DO YOU BELIEVE WILL WIN THIS GAME AND MAKE IT TO THE SUPER BOWL, JETS OVER THE STEELERS ARE WILL IT BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

WHAT TEAMS WILL BE IN SUPER BOWL #45?

COME ONE TAKE THE POLL, AND LETS SEE HOW GOOD YOU ARE IN PICKING, WE WILL BE BACK WITH RACING BLOGS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Well the game is set for Feb.6th, 2011 and you I never would have dreamed that the New York Jets could get beat by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the game is over and The Jets came so close, but close is only good enough in horseshoes.

As for the Packers they beat the Bears (Obama's) Team, thats great and I am so happy not in Super Bowl 45 will be played featuring the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers. So as for as I am concerned the season is over if I watch the game I will if not I am not going to waste my time.

So Packers fans get ready to meet the Steelers in Feb. 2011....and may the best team win, if I had to pull for a team it would be Green Bay.

THANKS

Senoia Back again and BETTER

Tim and Amey Moses, plus brother Tony Moses will be in charge of New Senoia raceway in 2011.

This is a photo taken of Tim and Amey Moses on their wedding day, and don't they look like a happy family.
If you have never met Tim you are in for a treat, he is always on the ball and has everything positive to say, that's the kind of people they are, and that means racing at Senoia in 2011 will be a blast as Tim pulls out every trick in the book to gain drivers attention and respect.

Drivers will be racing for points in 2011 and their will be a banquet in September when racing season ends.

A CLASS ACT "Pebbles Simpson" shows the 2010 "ORANGE" B.R.C shirt that you will see every lining the grandstands and also the fences, as her two drivers compete in the B-Cadet race, and that would be Billy Bright Sr. and his son Billy Bright Jr. So racing should go to a new level of excitement in 2011 at New Senoia Raceway.

Drivers like a man that has seen 32 years around a race car will be back, and that is Billy Bright Sr. driving in the B-Cadet race against his son Billy Bright Jr. Now Billy Jr has won plenty of races and is a force to be dealt with, maybe Sr, will teach Jr, some tricks regarding winning, then again maybe Sr. will just show his son how racing is done.

Billy Bright Sr. in this classic photo is saying "I'M BACK"

If you look at Billy Bright Sr. he is holding Billy Bright Jr, and if you read Jr's lips he is screaming and pointing that he wants to drive a car, and drive it fast, so Dad please put me down!.

"I say the SOUTH is back again"
Drivers who race at Senoia Raceway, are becoming hero's again, because if you look at these old photos of drivers you can see you are racing in history, on a track that made men stars, and took the toil on other cars.

Look at this Old photo of "Ricky Williams" who drove on the dirt at Senoia back in 1985.

Ricky Williams is still racing today and so is his son Richie Williams.

But you have to remember, how many drivers have battled this track, and how many have become legends winning race after race. Senoia at its roots with the best of the best dirt track drivers in the South.

In this photo, some really famous drivers, like #M-1 was none other than Jack Morris, who in 1970 was a big time winner ,he was Glenn's uncle, Glenn's father was Bob Morris and he was a winner, so now his son races on the same dirt track as his uncle and his father. I hope this year Glenn wins his first major race in 2011.

Now in 2010 look at the change in cars, here is #91 Todd Darda, showing the way and blowing past everyone, in his Crate Car.

Then you have a young gun, "Marty Lundsford"
and I mean young, but this young man can handle his #M96 Crate car with the best of the best drivers at Senoia.

Then you have young gun,#18 Matt Dooley, who comes out of a pure dirt track racing family and will be soon becoming a driver to watch.

The driver I look to win more races in 2011 will be that of a class act driver "Scott Duffey" in his #25 Limited Late Model

One class act driver that will not be seen at Senoia in 2011 will be one driver that has won more races everywhere in Dirt Track racing, and that is "Mr.Glenn McWaters" an his famous #G1 race car that was the threat in any race.

Glenn is hanging it up for a year or so, and maybe he will return and make it "Glory Days Again", but until then he is going to be with his son "Walter" and his precious wife Kacie.

One thing for sure is Senoia Raceway, will bring out the best of the best, winners in there own right like #41 one class driver, that even had a bounty on him, Mr.Scott Sherrer who took driving in the hobby division to a new level, and fans knew that Scott was going to be some where near the front in ever race he was in, and sure enough he came to Senoia and put on a racing clinic in the hobby feature.

Then again in B-Cadet you would see "Big" Jeff Carter join the ranks of the historic drivers to WIN at New Senoia Raceway, where he would take home the checked flag.

Jeff took this win on June 5, 2010
Again in 2011 will Carter be a force to be reckoned with?.

On May 15, 2010 in the Enduro feature Mike Ray known as "The River dale Rocket" or too this writer as the "Elderly Gentleman" would go on to Win his feature.

Now Eduro features have been done away with so Mike will have to get his car ready to run with so
me of the best hobby drivers in the South, is he ready?

Tim Moses with his brother Tony Moses have promised that we could see 2 shows of Super LATE MODELS, that will feature drivers like, #25 Shane Clanton, #17 Ricky William, #44 Clint Smith and who know who else will show up, for this super event that will have the crowds packing into the track. Can you imagine SUPER LATE MODELS running for big money at Senoia, well if Tim has his way the fans will see some of the fastest and greatest drivers come and run on the 3/8th track at New Senoia Raceway.

Drivers back for 2011 in Limited Late Model, will be Shane Criswell a pure winner, Shane Fulcher with his father this season. Also racing will be Little Joe Armistead Jr, and his #21 race car, and #73 "Racing Jason" Williams , plus #99 Rucker Orr, add in a few more drivers like #28 Glenn Morris and you will see some real racing action.

Italic
Many Thanks To all,
