No Orr No McWaters

“OH, KNOW, SPORTSMAN BE READY YOUR NIGHT HAS ARRIVED”

FLASH NEWS ON HUMP DAY!!!!!!

SPORTSMAN DRIVERS YOU NOW HAVE THE CHANCE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL YEAR, AS DRIVERS, RUCKER ORR AND GLENN MCWATERS WILL NOT MAKE THE RACE DUE TO OTHER COMMITMENTS.

SO WHO IS GOING TO STEP UP, I MEAN THIS IS YOUR NIGHT TO WIN!

We all know how that racing when Glenn McWaters is racing can be a race car drivers nightmare, the same goes as for as when Rucker Orr is in the race. Most drivers do more chasing than challenging, this big guns.

So that means this could be Mark Knight, Ryan Law, what about “High Flying” Michael Mills, are could it be another cake walk with Roger Cassell?

Whoever races in the Sportsman Feature should know that this Saturday Night will be a wide open race, who knows who will win?.

Since the favorite drivers will not be there, the race is up for grabs, NO McWaters NO Orr, racing will be a new event.

Last weekend the Pure Mini cars had their Championship race, and you know one of the drivers that really drove good for a while was #J17 of Joey Spencer, he had his car in the lead and was looking like a winner, but then one of the Bright cars passed Joey and gave him the ultimate snub in racing, he waved at Joey while he was passing him. After that Joey’s car slide back further in the pack. He was passed by Tim Collier who raced his car like a winner that he is, and also by #34 by Russell Bright, while #D7 driven by Lonnie Bright charged into 3rd place.

Joey Spencer has a nice car; it looks good, but tell me, what good is a car that looks good, if it does not have war licks on it. If you have a race car that has not been dented, damaged in anyway you are not racing.

If Joey wants to keep his car “Pretty” let him put it in the local town parade, but if you are racing you will get some damage, and if you are afraid of driving around other drivers are going high or low you are not racing.

A Pretty car is one that has been raced and shows its war wounds, the season is long, and every driver even the best of the best, like Glenn McWaters and Rucker Orr have always had damage, but that only means they have been in a race, sure they have the money to invest into cleaning their cars up, but pure mini drivers or a different breed of drivers.

I am not coming down hard on Joey Spencer, I am just making it perfectly clear that if you plan on racing, make sure you come prepared to race and not just lead the parade. Cars are nice looking, but after a race they are beaten and wore out, and parts needs to be replaced that is what racing is all about, it’s a battle of fixing and repairing. Also in the race is #21 Ricky Bradey Sr. One heck of a driver and drives his pure mini pushing it to the limit.

Come on, let’s get ready to race this Saturday night at West Georgia Speedway and see who can win, not only in the Sportsman feature, but also the Hobby car race, or the Enduro race, and don’t forget those fast Crate cars.

In the Crate car feature, is their any driver that can beat #14 Pete Cochran? Who has been a winning almost every Saturday nights race.

This weekend we will be having a new championship race, its going to be a 30 lap feature of those Full Size cars.

The last time the full size cars ran for the Championship at the Burg, we had a proven winner, and he was #16 Kevin Horton, and he has remained the champion, but will he remain undefeated this season?

Well, all I can say is please be there and make sure you visit the concession stand and grab some great food and drinks. The food is so good "Mighty Joe McWaters makes sure he has his hands full of great eats and a cold drink.

So please be at West Georgia Speedway, this Saturday Night and help support a track that is “Historic”. A track that has been there for you and your family, and one that remains dripping with history.

We hope to see you Saturday Night.

Many Thanks,
