Poster Boys from New Senoia Raceway

Sometimes it not all about Drivers, it is about top class owners like Tim and in this photo his wife and (boss) Amey Moses who keeps Tim happy.

Add in a brother Tony Moses and you have a team that cares about people and drivers and are willing to let it all hang out and give fans and drivers some real Saturday night Dirt Track racing shows at New Senoia Raceway located off hwy 16 in Senoia Georgia.

Some photos are blank because drivers have not been installed yet, maybe they have not been winning, maybe no one knows about them yet, or maybe this is there first year of taking racing seriously.

We will continue to add more and more Portraits of some of the greatest drivers in this sport.

WHO ARE THE POSTER BOYS OF SENOIA RACEWAY? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA, IF NOT LETS GAZE INTO A FEW PHOTOS THAT LINE THE MANY WALLS.

Newnans own Limited Late Model Driver #99 Rucker Orr signs in before race time, at the ticket booth, this is a great place to meet and photograph super dirt track drivers.

Rucker works hard all week and runs his own business called "ORR's Wrecker Service", located in Newnan Georgia.

Rucker has been racing for years and he comes from a long line of race drivers his father is none other than the legend Ken Orr who races on the Coweata track back in its hay days of fun and fury.

Now Rucker comes in with a great big rig and has some super horsepower. He comes to win at every race he attends, so when you want to see excitement keep your eyes on #99 in the Limited Late Model feature.

BRIAN looks like he is saying "Come On Bring on the HEAT", if you can.

But when it comes to winning Rucker has a crew member that has been with him for years Brian Teal, and as you can see Brian wears the gloves and keeps Orr's car running at all times.

Then there is the unmistakable, one and only Winford Minix and his famous #M4 Purple race car. Winford is easy going but he is a driver that never gives up once the green flag drops, he has been a track champion for years.

Again Winford is one of a kind and that last of a dyeing breed of pure dirt track drivers.

Winford does not have far to drive to the track because he is from Senoia Georgia.

Then there is "The Zero Hero" my old friend , Craig Scott who has been racing ever since I began filming back in the days of 7 Flags Speedway the grand old place in Douglasville , now closed and ripped down, all because of something called housing progress.

Then I first met Craig he was driving Modified Mini cars and later moved to Crates and Sportsman cars. Then he dropped back down to run asphalt at Senoia Speedway back in the year 2000 , it was amazing because again I met him and watched him race on the hot track, Craig never grabbed a win there but he would return to the Dirt and again I was there to watch him race this time at West Georgia Speedway and when that job was over I moved to New Senoia Raceway in 2010 and again Craig was racing and showing how great a driver he was in the super fast Crate race. One thing for sure I have seen Craig Scott in every situation and watched him race in every class.

One thing for sure is when Craig Scott buckles into the drivers seat of his Crate Car he has every notion of winning, and that's what he does best is WIN.

Now the "Zero Hero" has people that look up to him and even admire his racing career.

People like young gun Marty Lunsford in his #M96 is a student of pure winning drivers, and he looks up to Craig Scott.

Thanks Bobby and Marty Lunsford for running my ad, thats for the help and I pray that it helps take care of my wife because that is what it is all about.

Marty at the young age of 14 can handle his crate car with the best in his field and I predict that young Marty will capture lots of wins at New Senoia Raceway in this new season.

LAST MONTH I WAS HAMMERED FOR A BLOG THAT HAD SOME THINGS TO DO WITH THE BRIGHTS, SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE WANTED TO THROW SOME HEAT MY WAY, BUT LIKE I HAVE ALWAYS SAID," IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN".

it even came over to Steven Simpson and his precious wife Pebbles.

For all those that think I am going overboard with the BRIGHTS well please think again, sure they have been helping me in more ways than one, sure they are running my ad on their cars and others are running my ad, so if you think that because they are helping me in different ways I will give them special treatment think again and again and again. I am a writer and see things the way they go down. If you can beat them in B-Cadet your car is faster and legal great, if you want to beat them they won't play that game. Race with courage and pride, this is America.

The Brights, fun and family, from Steven Simpson dueling it out with Billy Bright Jr in a arcade game, will Billy THE LEGEND Bright Sr, takes a break from building the cars.

To Steven wife a pure sweet lady Precious Pebbles Simpson, who has been a blessing to my wife and myself.

I want to personally thank Billy Sr, Billy Jr. my great friend Steven Simpson and his lovely wife Pebbles. They have been helping me in more ways than one, many of you know my wife is going on dialysis and that's 3 days a week and 4 hours a day, and I am worried like she is as to how she can handle this so I am praying for her every day and I know there are Lot's of drivers, wife's and crew members praying for her. She would like to thank you all and thanks you for the prayer. I want to thank you also because GOD knows I need the prayer.

Senoia Raceway kicks off April 2 2011 and it has been so long, that every one I have spoken with has been having dirt track withdrawals,,,,now it's time to go racing, and let the best drivers win.

Getting back to the Photos in the gallery, there will be plenty of of items to write about, I am going to also cover Little River Speedway in Alabama and when Wren Goodman gets me the winners they will be posted on the BLOG. I will not promote West Georgia Speedway in any way. Once you kick me OK, but when you flat out lie about things I have said they are off my list.

So drivers in Alabama get ready for the BLOG to be covering your racing action every week.

Now More drivers will be profiled every week so get ready to start reading about some of the exciting action that goes on at New Senoia Raceway and every feature will have a story as long as I can write and my wife is not sick. ANONYMOUS Who ?????

The comments were HOT since my last BLOG , seems like one person who goes by "Anonymous" another why of not coming forth and speaking with me honestly after all my number is 770-361-3019 and I can be reached any time will not come forward to what I have written. Please BE BOLD, so say Anonymous ...... if you have a problem let me know and maybe we can fix it then again maybe we can not. It seems this person was upset with all the Polls concerning "THE BRIGHTS", mainly Billy Sr and Billy Jr. for what reason I have no idea. Also the complaint was that I was more are less making New Senoia Racing sound like "THE BRIGHT SHOW", I know Tim and Tom Moses and the fine outstanding staff that run this class facility. I never say anything against it at all, as a matter of fact I believe you will see some of the best Saturday night dirt track racing at Senoia Raceway. The fans are incredible and a wealth of knowledge regarding this great sport. Also it was brought to my attention that ANONYMOUS believes I am making the Brights out as the POSTER BOYS of Dirt track Racing, wow that is incredible, I mean when a driver wins races they get the press, that goes for every division, no driver is thought to be lowly, in more cases or not I life up the drivers that are losing and ENCOURAGE them in every way. Sure the Brights WIN, sure they make racing fun and exciting so yes I will write about them when and as often as I want and I hope that you or anyone the reads this understand, that what I write is my opinion and is never derogatory in my statements never putting any one down, I am there for a driver that has been losing as those that are WINNING. Last statement by "ANONYMOUS" they are telling me I had better reconsider my marketing adventure, according to them all I need to ask is CHARLIE (Edwards) SAMMY (Duke) and MOUTH ,,,a driver that has been a winner for years what he has to do with this is crazy. So to everyone please except my apologizes for this rant. I have always focused on every driver in every class, from Hobby to B-Cadet to Pure Mini to Crate and Limited Late Model plus the Bombers. Every driver gets their fill of action IF I SEE THAT IT IS WORTHY of writing about. I am not wasting time writing about Last Place drivers, are ones that never seem to care that I am up outside on a deck filming in all kinds of crazy weather from HOT to COLD, I am there, for every bit of the action. So ANONYMOUS I hope you have a great day and I hope that if you have a problem you will call me at 770-361-3019 and we can talk civil to each other and work out the differences. RACING SEASON ALMOST HERE and THANKS DRIVERS!

This photo may seem stupid to many people, but all those that believe in GOD then you can understand that before this race season begins we should all PRAY for all the drivers, families, and crew members and fans.

May GOD Bless everyone that will attend New Senoia Raceway and may he bless you as you travel back and forth from the Raceway and keep you safe on the roads.

Again Chad Harrington will be in the flag stand, and again he will be directing traffic and he is a warrior, and his double checked flags waving is something you have to see, the race is one thing but he is a man that runs the show and no driver gets preferred treatment.

THANKS to every driver that has given me support, by placing a logo on their car because of my wife who is about ready to go on Dialysis Mon, Wed, and Fri. for over 4 hours per day, I know that your prayers have been a blessing to me, I know also that I will be always thankful to you and your race teams. Saturday will be the only day that I can come forget my problems and film some of the most exciting dirt track racing in the South.

You and your family and race teams will be a true blessing to watch, and I pray that you win so many races in 2011.

Just like in the movie "Days of Thunder", Billy Bright Sr. takes peices of metal and molds them into a winning car, from this simple frame, comes a beast of a car, that will have all the power it needs to take so many Checkered Flags at New Senoia Raceway. The Legend is not just a car builder he is a friend and some people can't understand that and why I have no idea.

NOW YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS ON THE QUARTER PANEL OF THE BLAZING AND WINNING CAR OF BILLY BRIGHT JR or could it be BILLY BRIGHT SR. ?

Senoia raceway is going to be fun and exciting and prove to be the place to to be with exciting racing action every Saturday Night. In every class you will see the best of the best, from HOBBY to PURE MINI and those super fast B-Cadet Cars and Crate and Limited Late Models, every night it is going to be fun.

Driver Billy Bright Jr, known as "HOT SHOT" walks around his car in amazement at all the work his father "THE LEGEND" Billy Bright Sr. has put into the car, from graphics and motor that is tuned by the hands of Billy Bright Sr. but the engines in these fine cars are designed by "CROCKETT RACING ENGINES" but the work is a team effort from Billy Bright Sr, to Steven Simpson to Billy Bright Jr and a cast of thousands, so you see racing is in the Brights BLOOD. To be blunt the car was designed by the Amazing Legend and hands of steel Billy Bright Sr. all Jr. has to do is walk around and smile. BUT who will take the first B-Cadet Win?

Who will win the B-Cadet race, will it be Billy Bright Jr or the Legend Billy Bright Sr. ?

Tony and Tim Moses have brought life back to New Senoia Raceway with lots of family things geared to AMERICANS who want to enjoy a nice Saturday night.

If you want to see the ultimate in Racing Programs, New Senoia Raceway will be the place to be, and fans please bring a friend or friends that have never seen a dirt track race and I am sure it will grow on them like it did with you. Nothing like the smell of gasoline, the clay and the food.

THE BEST FOOD AT ANY RACE TRACK IN GEORGIA OR ALABAMA IS LOCATED AT NEW SENOIA RACEWAY.

If you want FOOD go no further than the concession stand at New Senoia Raceway where food is the best and is priced where everyone can afford it. I promise you the food is better than any fast food place you could stop at, so remember don't stop to get food to bring to the track because once you try some of New Senoia Raceways food you will not be disappointed.

Senoia will prove to have some really great events like Mini Van Demolition derbies, to water melon eating contest, to a weekend where Sprint cars come back to the speedway and explode for maybe a huge weekend.

Don't forget some time in the year, Tim Moses has promised us a Super Late Model show that will be bringing in some of the best Super Late Model drivers in Georgia and other States.

HOBBY CARS FEATURES, can get WILD as you see #41 Scott Sherrer, stuck in traffic, but in the next picture you can see when it time to go, he makes his way around cars like they are not there, and takes another WIN at New Senoia Raceway, that is why I call Scott Sherrer "The Champ" watch him in this new 2011 season at Senoia Raceway.

When Scott speaks every one listens even Blake Griffin, Sherrer is a class champ can you beat him in Hobby in 2011 ?

Rough and tough driving makes the Hobby feature more than exciting!, passing and sliding and just a all out war.

This is Senoia Raceway where MEN come and Play in the Clay every Saturday Night.

One thing for sure is every race will have drama and excitement, from the Hobby car race featuring drivers like The Champ Scott Sherrer #41 who at one time had a bounty on his head, and we all know Scott is one class driver and his car proves it every Saturday night. In the Hobby mix will be long time friend and winner of several classic races at the now closed 7 flags speedway Mr. Kip Stanfill in his #K1 that he made famous at 7 flags speedway.

Another class act and good friend, Mr.Winford Minix "The Purple People Eater" and his famous #M4.

But I would never leave out Hobby car drivers like M4 of Winford Minix, who has been around racing for what seems for ever. But like in all racing action sometimes someone else shows up and blows every ones doors away, this season we have no idea who that will be. Just know that the HOBBY feature will not be so easy a task to win, every driver is competing for points this season. So fans get ready to watch a out standing HOBBY feature.

Check out Randy Johnson always a winner, will be be racing in Hobby or B-Cadet ? What ever class he runs he is a major force.

From Hobby to the B-Cadet race, and all gloves are off as this exciting race will feature Father vs Son in this case Billy "The Legend" Bright Sr. vs Billy "THE HOTSHOT" Bright Jr. in a pure father son race, and who knows but Billy Jr is a outstanding driver, but can and will the Legend Billy Bright Sr show him how racing is run. I am sure there will be some sheet metal rubbing, remember if your not rubbing your not racing.

Oh by the way also in the B-Cadet race will be drivers like #3 of Big Jeff Carter and maybe later in the season his son Robbie Carter. Also in the feature will be a winning driver in his own right Blake Griffin, who knows how to win.

Put it this way B-Cadet racing will be so exciting you had better order your food in advance because one Chad Harrington drops the green flag all bets are off as to who will win, but you will I promise see some of the most exciting racing in Dirt track history.

These men will get it on!

How can we leave out those fast Crate cars and drivers like #M96 of Marty Lunsford who is just 14 and can handle a car, like the pro's.

But he will be racing against drivers like winning drivers Todd Darda who has proved he can and will win at Senoia, then there is the "Zero Hero" Mr.Craig Scott who is Marty's mentor of a driver. Plus we will get to see at the start of the season, for at least 2 months are more #18 Matt Dooley who will run Crate but then switch up to Limited Late Model, he is also a young gun, so you see Crate races will be fast and furious.

Marty showed he can drive with the best as he takes Senoia Raceways turn 3 and heads into turn 4, he is young and talented and that's what it takes to make it to the top of the dirt track racing field.

Marty Lunsford is a Student at watching the best drivers do their thing, in this case Craig Scott known as "The Zero Hero" shows his stuff as young Marty watches him take practice laps at New Senoia Raceway.

Young Marty Lunsford and his #M96 crate car features my logo, and you may have to look close for it but I promise it's there and I thank Marty and his father Bobby for at least helping me out and I will be filming every race at Senoia in 2011and all DVD sales are $25.00 cash.

I have know idea how the races will be run, but after the Crates they should line up the fast Limited Late Models and this is the race fans come to see, they are the stars of the night. Drivers like #9 Shane Fulcher will be racing against his Father in the same Feature, plus you will see #99 Rucker Orr and #33 of Brian Reese, plus plenty of winning drivers.

Shane Fulcher will be showing his way around New Senoia Raceway again in this 2011 season, but this season rumor has it that his Father will be trading paint with his Son in the Limited Late Model Feature. So as you can see we will have Father and Son battles in so many features, the one that is really going to be wild is B-Cadet racing with "THE LEGEND" Billy Bright Sr. showing "HOT SHOT" Billy Bright Jr the way around Senoia Raceway, it is going to be fun.

Then in Limited Late Model you have another CLASS ACT driver Shane Fulcher in his famous #9 against his father in the #29 car.

But please never leave out #99 of hard charging Rucker Orr plus #73 of Racing Jason Williams and who can leave out #28 of Glenn Morris.

Who can leave out Little Joe Armstead Jr, who will not make the 1st race of the season but he will be back for race number 2 in the young 2011 season, and any time Little Joe is racing, he will be up front for sure. He is one of the most dynamitc drivers in all of Dirt Track Racing and he is never affraid to pass on the high side or low side, he is a born "WINNER".

On thing for sure is Little Joe is COOL off and on the track, and never has a unkind word for anyone, he is a true racer.

What is the difference between "Charlie Sheen" and Little Joe Armistead Jr, and Billy "THE LEGEND" Bright Sr. and his son Billy "HOT SHOT" Bright Jr. SIMPLE

They are real "WINNERS".....AND ARE WINNING!

PRAY for JAPAN PLEASE

Racing Season is almost here, but we should all PRAY for the many people in Japan.

The homeless, the sick the people that will never be found, and the many that are running out of food and water, and time is ticking.

The Quakes that shook the country of Japan may have been the cause for us to really worry and pray for everyone. Sure we have issues with Japan, but when you see little children older people not knowing what is going to happen it is sad. Networks around the clock are combined with covering what could be the worse disaster in the world.

It is hard to believe that huge ships could be washed up on shores where homes once were, it is so amazing.

All Georgians, and people of this United States should bow their heads and say a prayer every day. This is not going to be a quick fix, so each day pray for the people of Japan if you can pray once a day that could mean something to some one over seas.

Racing season is almost here, New Senoia Raceway will have all the best shows in 2011. There is a new face lift at the track, and Tim and Tony Moses with a full crew of people that know how to run a track will be back from the 2010 season.

Chad Harrington, again will be throwing the green flag as well as the double checkered flags, as his style. April 2, 2011 the first race of the 2011 season is going to prove to have the hottest groups of racing action.

From the super HOBBY car feature with well known drivers like the champ himself # 41 Scott Sherrer, but he will have to really beware because he will have some real hot shots chasing him. Drivers like Winford Minix, and also who knows if Ken Orr father to Rucker Orr will make a try at driving in Hobby and then there is some 7 flags speedway winner, of many races, #K1 and Kip Stanfill will return to the dirt and show his stuff.

Then the B-Cadet races and I mean if you are ready for some excitement please don't sit down because in the B-Cadet race you will have Father vs Son , as Billy Bright Sr. and Billy Bright Jr. take on a field of superior race cars with winning driving in every car. Drivers like #3 Jeff Carter #25 Bobby Slauson and #T7 of Tim Bright , plus a real winner in his own right, Blake Griffin. Who knows maybe #29 Randy Johnson could also make a run. Who ever is racing the B-Cadet race is going to be a tough fought battle and some one will have to win, who will it be.

When this feature is over people will have to catch their breath as the famous Crate cars will run for the cash, drivers like young gun Marty Lunsford in his #m96. Plus #0 car of the zero hero Craig Scott. In the same race will be Todd Darda who proves he is a proven winner. Now will another young gun be in the same feature and that is young and talented #18 Matt Dooley who at 14 and turns 15 in April 2011 will not only be driving in Crate in April and May but moving up later in the year to run with the Limited Late Models. So you can see Matt is moving up as fast as he is growing up.

In Pure Mini the drivers will be back to push and shove and show they can win, drivers like #4 Dusty Johnson, #00 Matt Black, #21 Rocky Johnson and #16 Stephen Hill plus more drivers. Every one of these drivers are winners, and they make watching the Pure Mini race worth watching. No driver hangs back it's takes a toll on both driver and cars.

Then its time for the Limited Late Models who make the show worth being there, legendery drivers like Mike Head, Rucker Orr, Shane Fulcher, Jason Williams , Scott Duffy, and more, all race in one of the fastest features and the winner knows he has beaten the best. One driver that should make a difference will be another Father and Son battle when Shane Fulchers dad will be racing in the same feature, this just adds to more drama.

How could I leave out Little Joe Armstead Jr. a legend in his own right, but we are not sure if he will make the opening day show. Joe we found out will not be a New Senoia Racway on opening night April 2, 2011 because he will be racing at East Alabama Motor Speedway, but he asured me he would be back on April 9th, 2011 so some other Limited Late Model driver will take Opening nights win, but it will be hard when Little Joe makes his return to Senoia on the 9th.

I have not even mentioned those Alabama drivers that make the trip , and Alabama men race with a different heart.

One thing for sure New Senoia raceway will be geared to a FAMILY Friendly atmosphere, and there will be all kinds of things for kids as well as family.

Remember fans and friends save your money and EAT some of the best food at New Senoia Raceway, you want great food, you want food that is not over priced, you want to be taken care of by friendly people? Save your money and EAT at New Senoia Raceway.

I personally want to thank Tim Moses and also Billy Bright Sr. plus Steven Simpson for helping me place a piece of Lexsan between my camera and the race track, I don't need to lose another camera.

Also thanks to every driver for their prayers for my wife who will begin dialysis in April so that will be taking a toll of her as she will have to go every Mon. Wed. and Friday, so you see Saturday will be my day out to enjoy the race and watch the drivers in every class and write a blog every week about Senoia Raceway.
