EARLY MORNING THOUGHTS.....

GATES OPEN AT 2 P.M. RACES START AT 4 P.M. "BEAT THE CHILL".....COME ON OUT RACE FANS FOR SOME EXCITING WEST GEORGIA SPEEDWAY RACING ACTION.

TUESDAY …. 6:30 A.M., WHAT THE “H*****L”

Good morning race fans, and I hope you are feeling good, because there will be some great racing at West Georgia Speedway this Saturday night, when the B-Cadet cars run for $600 in cash.

If you are wondering yes, Billy Bright Jr. will be racing. Even with a tore up race car they have put it back in winning shape again.

As for as Marcus Caswell’s #17 it had a little over $1800 dollars in damage and may not see racing action again.

But remember you will have other great drivers, like Blue Ridge driver, Bo Eaton, who will be making the trip down to make and earn some extra cash.

Then there is always, “Mr. Excitement” Jeff Carter who will strap into his famous #3 race car for a run for the cash.

And don’t count out last weeks winner #11 T.J.Joiner, who enjoyed his 1st win last week but he will have to work for it this weekend, money drivers will be there, and when there is that much cash on the line, you know you will see some real B-Cadet drivers.

Historic West Georgia Speedway has always been the place to watch some of the most exciting racing in dirt track, because of its 3/8th track and the history that surrounds this track, there is always something that has happened there that will not happen any where else. “Just ask the walls”?

How many times have we seen, #99 sportsman driver Rucker Orr win at WGS, then again he has yet won a race at the New Senoia Raceway, why?.

How about #25 Scott Duffy a class act sportsman driver, that has his act together, he can win if his car is right.

But never count out #73 of Jason Williams, who can blister a track at record speeds, and is one of the nicest drivers you will meet.

Whatever happens, the race to watch will be the B-Cadet race for $600 and remember they will also have the “Dash for Cash” an extra $100 to the winner of those laps. So when you really look at it a B-Cadet driver could walk away from West Georgia Speedway with a total of $700 in cash, and that my friend is a good nights racing profit.

Other races will include the Modified Mini cars, the Hobby cars, the B-Cadet feature, plus the Pure Mini class and the Street Stock class, but the race to watch will become the B-Cadet wild race, it will have some of the best Georgia drivers in it and after last week, who knows who will walk away with the win.

If you have yet to find West Georgia Speedways new Website it can be found online at http://www.thewestgaspeedway.com/ now that is the new one so please make note of it.

Also my face book page has pictures of drivers and cars at West Georgia Speedway added also, just make sure you look me up on Face Book as Tino Patti and there you can see some of the photos I have taken.

If you are really crazy I have this Blog ever week, so be sure to let your friends know where to find it. The link is http://douglcountyliar.blogspot.com check it out every week, and more so when racing season has ended.

All racing action is captured on DVD and can be yours at WGS for just $20.00 that beats Senoia, where the price is $25.00 and will continue to be $25.00. Next season there will be a new pricing change, and I am sure some drivers will understand, then some will not, but that’s the way the world goes around. Will let you know later about the changes, or if you have to know leave me e-mail on face book and I will inform you of the changes.

The Sun is starting to rise above the eastern skies, and the temperatures today promise to be in the 70’s in the afternoon. So all I can say is I will be out and about.

Doctor’s appointments with the wife, and more or less a day that will be lost, but when you have to take care of your wife you better do it.

Well the day is over call it 8:25 p.m. seemed like a good day for a while, until the wife became sick and was not able to have her iron infusion treatment instead I took her to her doctors office where he prescribed more pills to help settle her stomach. Seems like that all that doctors want to do for her is push more and more pills, although he did say for her appetite she needed maybe a small glass of red wine before bed time. For some reason he thinks this will help her sleep as well as bring her appetite back, something she has lost.

Maybe he is suggesting that we both sit back forget our troubles and become wino’s…..who knows.

Well what ever helps her and makes her feel better I am for, including getting rid of 2 of the nurses that came daily to check on her. We still will keep the morning aide who my wife loves and on the weekend when I have to work, we will have a care worker come in from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., this will only happen on Saturdays when I am at work.

Well as I said get ready for some real action again this weekend at West Georgia Speedway when the B-Cadet cars get ready to rumble.

Again THANKS to everyone, and all you special drivers,

Tino Patti
