CALL HIM "HOLLYWOOD" or just Jeff

CALL HIM “HOLLYWOOD” JEFF CARTER

If any of you racing fans were listening to 96.7 FM “The Legend”, you would have heard Jeff’s name mentioned for winning the B-Cadet race at the New Senoia Raceway, Saturday night.

Jeff Carter was driving his famous #3 and on this night he seemed to have everything going for him, except for #31 of Lee Fuller, who seemed like he had the car to beat. The battle raged on, with Carter closing in on Lee, and for some reason Lee’s car drifted upward toward the grandstand seats, where he did what I call, a “Rim Ride”. I mean his car was half on the track and half on the top wall.

You could hear the fans breath deep and sigh of relief when his car landed back down onto the track. What made his car go high I have still not figured out but I am sure the video that I shot will improve and shed some light on it?

I do know by this time Jeff Carter, had almost a back stretch lead over Fuller.

What also amazed me was the fact that Lee never pulled into the pits to check his tires are the rest of his car.

Heck I hit a piece of gravel sideways and I want to stop and inspect for damage and I don’t even drive a race car.

Now that Jeff’s name was mentioned on 96.7 The Legend, I don’t know what “The Magic Man” is going to say, will he believe he has made it to HOLLYWOOD?

#11 T.J.Joiner was chasing Jeff as hard as he could but T.J. just did not have what it takes to catch Jeff on this night.
Also in the chase was #12 of Gary Brand, a long time winner of many a race at West Georgia Speedway, trouble was this was not West Georgia Speedway this was New Senoia Raceway.

Chasing Brand was non other than #25 of Bobby Slauson who was caught up in heavy traffic or he might have made a run for Carter.

Closing down the B-Cadet series were #92 of “Hammering” Hank McNair, #T7 of Tim Bright and Racing Jason Williams father #03 of Buck Williams, and finishing the Cadet series was #31 of Lee Fuller.

This weekend the Warriors invade New Senoia Raceway in the B-Cadet series to race for $1000 cash money.

“Wife spending money” or “Bill paying cash”!

I know Lee Fuller will bring his “A” Game car, as will Jeff Carter, we are not sure if Bobby Slauson will make the show, but he hoped to, because he is really enjoying racing and more so trying to chase Jeff Carter down.

So make plans on being at New Senoia Raceway, this weekend, and everyone pray we can hold off the rain.

Thanks and be ready to rumble May 22, 2010 at the New Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia “The fastest 3/8th dirt oval in Georgia”.

See you there and please remember to bring your appetite as Senoia raceway has the best food of any race track in Georgia, always fresh and always worth every penny you pay for it. Thanks go to Mark Mills, Tony and Tim Moses with I am sure some great taste tests done by “Big Jack” Mills.

Thanks to everyone see you at the track!
