Come On Friends!

"Come on race fans lets get ready"

Race fans as well as Drivers, are a special breed of people.

Fans come to a race track, when the weather is cold, an they show up when the weather is "HOT".

You must remember these are real fans, not like those NASCAR people that sit in luxury box's high above the race track.Fans at your local dirt track know every driver, no matter what class.

They eat at the concession stand, Nachos and Chess and Jalapenos and also burgers and fries or Onion rings, or maybe a corn dog. They grab a cold drink and sit on concrete bleachers. These are the "Real Fans", people that come to the track for the nights racing action and would not miss it at all. When I talk with them they know all about the track, they know who is the driver to watch and the one that seems to be having car problems. They voice their opinion and are not afraid to speak their mind. Then again, they become family every racing season and When someone is not there you know it.

Drivers are the same way, we all enjoy seeing cars like Sportsman #G1 of Glenn McWaters, or #99 of Rucker Orr, not to leave out cars like #1 of Ben Hill, or #13 of Roger Cassell, or #13C of Shane Criswell. Then we have drivers like #25 of Scott Duffy or high flying #28 of Michael Mills.

Whoever shows up we know we are all in for some great racing action.

Crate Car racing is the same, fan favorites, like #16 of Tony Kemp is always ready to put on a show. #89 young and talented Carey Smith is always a wild show to watch, because you never know where he is heading. Then if Michael Keener shows up, we know that racing will be up for grabs, because Keener known as "Mouth" has put on some real shows and has been winning.

Ok, Ok, Ok, all this talk about Sportsman cars and Crate Cars what about those Modified Mini cars ?

Take it from me the bad dude at West Georgia Speedway has been the hottest driver so far, and that is #6 of Richard Bagby who was going for 6 straight wins, until he decided not to show Saturday May 2nd because of the rain that moved into the Atlanta metro area.

In all honesty Richard could have won, but since he was not there, the victory went to his rival #07 Frank Long,

Then again if Richard would have shown up, I am sure he would have walked away with the money, but that is in the past now.

Those Modified Mini cars, seem to be getting better and better and a up and coming driver is #9 of Evan Lancaster, have not got much info on him but will be writing about him soon.

The Enduro class is always a challenge and when you have drivers like #M4 of Winford Minnix, who knows "The Burg" better than most drivers you know you will see a great race, there are always other outstanding divers.

Then the Hobby feature is ready, fans all sit back because this is the race to watch, the race features some of the premier drivers in racing.

#92 of Joe Hillman, #3 of Jeff Carter, #69 of Roscoe Collins, #GT47 of Charlie Garrett, not to mention #47 of Jason Causey and then throw in #01 of Blant Duke and you have some real racing.

Everyone of these drivers are proven winners, and if it's their night nothing will stop them. One thing for sure this is the race for the ill at heart, because once the green is dropped, anything can and will happen.

FOR ALL THOSE INTERESTED BLANT DUKE WILL BE RACING WITH HIS NEW MOTOR THIS SATURDAY NIGHT.

My Question is can Blant Duke be beat?

If you want to find out be at West Georgia Speedway this Saturday Night.

Hope you will be there, the weather should be nice and racing should be fast and furious.

Thanks
