I AM BACK

RACING AT NEW SENOIA RACEWAY AND MORE ……

BLOGS will be returning, as my health gets better and better, my life has changed in a BIG WAY when I lost my wife, she was wonderful and loved me know matter what. She was a prayer warrior and hey she prayed for you drivers and crews and families.

More times she would stay up until I pulled in from the track, and I was wishing she had gone to bed because I would have wanted her well rested to get to church on Sunday morning. But after a long night of staying up waiting on me she was to tired and getting sicker every morning.

Well now she has gone, but hey drivers and fans, my wife is with me at every race I am filming at, you probably think I am NUTS. No I am not completely “Nuts” I have her wedding ring on my small finger next to mine, so you see she is always with me. She enjoyed racing, and was the track photographer at the now closed 7 Flags Speedway in Douglasville, Georgia. She quit when the track closed down and was more into weddings and other things, we worked as a team and always talked things over. She knew I loved racing and drivers and crews and fans, and that is what I loved best.
She would have wanted me to continue and with GOD’S help that is what I plan on doing, the best I can. With your help and support you will make sure her dream comes true. Please remember every time you purchase a DVD from me you are helping her, because so much money is put back to take care of buying the beautiful URN that her body will be placed in.

Racing at New Senoia Raceway has become historic in every way, from the Hobby cars that have been putting on a real show for the fans. There is no hanging back in this fierce race, with some of the most talented drivers in the South. Like Clifton Moran, driver of the #07 car that can start in the front, be placed in the back and come from behind to win the big races.
He also had to face some of the special drivers that proved they can win, like #41 Scott Sherrer and proven winner of many a race at New Senoia Raceway. Also racing is a legend in the racing world of #K1 and that is Kip Stanfill, you don’t remember him well he raced and WON at 7 Flags Speedway in Douglasville Georgia when the track was open. Kip has a flare for the dramatics. Now his car is BLACK and looks great.

Also pulling his car out of the weeds is #01 of Blant Duke known as the young gun from West Georgia Speedway now closed. When Blant is racing there is going to be some fireworks.
If the fans want to watch one of the best races of the night then the HOBBY car race is the one that attracts fans of every age.
Don’t forget the great food at New Senoia Raceway, I mean forget McDonald, Burger King, or any fast food restaurant you think about stopping at, because Senoia has the best food and the prices are fan based prices. NOTHING is too HIGH, and the food is outstanding. Also have to mention the staff is prepared to meet your every need.
When B-Cadet cars come onto the track you know you will see some of the South’s best drivers and they are there to WIN.
Drivers like #3 “Big” Jeff Carter, a winner in the week I was not there due to the death of my wife, he is also a proven winner and has won some of the biggest races that come around. He reminds me of NASCARS all-time favorite Buddy Baker.
Add in the mix drivers like “The Legend” Billy Bright Sr. in his famous #B7 car and throw in his son Billy Bright Jr in his #B7jr car and you have a mix.
But wait hang in there lets add #47 Jason Causey and you never know who can win. If #17 Marcus Casswell returns you will see one heck of a B-Cadet race.
One thing for sure is Tim and Tony Moses has been really doing a great job at running this great racetrack. The one major effect Tim did have was when the lights refused to fire up, because the transformer was hit by a bolt of lightning. That was a freak happening and how many times a year could this happen again?
One thing I have to stay and this is the truth; Tim Moses takes care of his staff in every way. That is why everyone likes Tim. He tells it like it is so does his brother Tony Moses.
If you love racing and a fan friendly track, Senoia Raceway is the place for you to bring family
and friends. And if you have someone that has never seen a dirt track race, then why not invite them to come to New Senoia Raceway and turn them onto the wonderful world of Dirt Track Racing.
The Crate cars are fast and some of the drivers range in age, from “The Zero Hero” Craig Scott, who won the feature race on April 30, 2011 , he was in a battle with long time winner Todd Darda, and new comer #T7Jr of Tim Bright, who has seen his share of racing in all kinds of features but now he has turned all his attention to the Crate cars, and if fast is what you enjoy then the Crate feature could be right up your alley.
I will not forget some of the drivers that may not have the fastest cars on the track, but these are dedicated drivers who come to win, with their 4 cylinder motors. Drivers like young and winning drivers like #4 Dusty Jones who has had some exciting wins and is currently the point’s champion.

Then you have a driver that seems to have some more problems, he is none other than #16 Stephen Hill who has won several races he is just in what I call a drivers slump.
Hill vows to be back in the winner’s circle soon at New Senoia Raceway. To be honest I believe in Hill because he can drive as long as his car handles right.
Then you have 2 time winner for this 2011 season of Douglasville’s Matt Black, who on April 30th hung out toward the back and when Gary Parker tangled with Dusty Jones which was helped by another car, that would give Matt Black the lead and he would never look back. You know Matt works hard during the week, but is ready to race come Saturday night at Senoia Raceway.
Leading the Pure Mini race was #54 of Bo Chambers, whose car blew up on the way to the win, Chambers was burned on his arms but he will be back as soon as his car is ready.

Douglasvilles, MATT BLACK takes 2nd win at New Senoia Raceway April 30, 2011

Then it was time for the Limited Late Model Feature, 25 laps of pure excitement, with some of the best drivers in Georgia. Drivers like #21 Little Joe Armistead Jr. plus #9 Shane Fulcher, and also #00 of Endicott, plus #99 Rucker Orr.
With Chad Harrington the top flagman in Georgia ready to throw the green flag he would had known idea what would happen in later. Coming out of turn 4 and taking the green, cars jockeyed for position and everyone was getting together, spinning and shaking. The worst car that was wrecked was #99 Rucker Orr, and also #00 Endicott who’s car took a beating. Worse was Rucker Orr climbing out of his race car and pointing a finger in the face of #11 Levon Sparks a class act driver. It seems Rucker blamed Sparks for the complete wreck, although it was not Sparks who caused the wreck it was caused by well buy a DVD and you make the call. It was amazing, but it never failed to upset #21 Joe Armistead Jr, who blew everyone away. With Levon Sparks taking 2nd place and coming up in 3rd place was Shane Fulcher.

Racing at New Senoia Raceway is always a blast to watch and fans get their money’s worth so please be there May 7th 2011 when the Outlaw Sprint Cars make the show, so you will see some super-fast Sprint Cars and add in all the features and you are going to see the best of the best race this weekend at the fastest 3/8th DIRT Track in Georgia.

Please be there for some really fast racing action this weekend.

Many Thanks,
